La Cour de Châtelet

La Cour de Châtelet is a reincarnation of a French restaurant that has graced this site for the last 10 years – a little corner of France on Hong Mei Road.

The design of the restaurant draws inspiration from the concept of a courtyard within a small château, complete with French windows and an external fireplace.

Headed by Chef Pierre, whose family left France some generations ago but as he always says “cooking is part of my ancestral DNA”.

The dishes served at La Cour de Châtelet include classic French dishes such as Filet de Sole Bonne Femme (fresh fillets of sole in a lightly glazed mushroom sauce), and more nouvellecusine-inspired items like Medallions de Porc aux Groseilles Rouge (medallions of pork in an unusual slightly sweet currant sauce). Some of the dishes ooze the sunny flavours of Provence.

In addition to the A La Carte menu there are daily specials inspired by ingredients that are handpicked from what is available that day on the market. Great focus is placed on the highest quality of products and the freshest of ingredients. Authenticity of the cooking is also a core value of this culinary team, chosen more for the love of what they do than clocked up years of culinary experience.
